Why is postpartum rehabilitation important?
Exercise is very important even after childbirth, as the body undergoes numerous changes during pregnancy and following delivery.
Due to changes in body weight and the center of gravity, various issues can arise, such as lower back, back, and neck pain. These problems can be prevented or alleviated through exercises performed during pregnancy.
Learning proper posture is important, as holding, lifting, and breastfeeding a child all place repetitive strain on the muscles. Unpleasant changes can be corrected with regular, professional exercise.
It is essential for the body that after childbirth, the brain–muscle connection is rebuilt and strengthened, especially in the core muscles.
How can it help?
Exercise is very important even after childbirth, as the body undergoes numerous changes during pregnancy.
Workouts can help with the treatment of diastasis recti, relieve lower back pain, stretch tight neck muscles, reduce shoulder pain, improve endurance, and develop proper body awareness.
Where do we start?
First, I examine posture, the abdominal wall, and the core muscles. After that, I can determine the extent of any changes and which level of exercises we should start with.
I help teach the correct execution of movements, which my clients can later practice at home. I warmly welcome you to my classes!
